Unlocking Blocked Care London (for carers at risk of compassion fatigue)

A one day foundation training for parents and professionals who are caring for children with developmental trauma and attachment wounds, who want practical and accessible tools and practices to prevent compassion fatigue, reduce mutual defensiveness, and recover their strength, dignity and resilience.

When our love, care and authority is met with resistance, opposition and control, it can elicit our own feelings of rejection, failure and shame. This training will help you restore your capacity to stay open, engaged and curious in the heat of the moment, and sustain your compassion and care over the long term, so you don’t drown in empathy or soak in shame at the end of the day. You will discover how to take safe protective action on behalf of your child whilst simultaneously taking care of your deeper needs and concerns
